Downtown Container Park

The Most Unique Park in Vegas

It’s called Downtown Container Park. It’s an appropriate name. Guarded by a fire-shooting praying mantis from Burning Man, it is what can literally be called an outdoor wonderland. Incomparable play areas (an interactive treehouse is the centerpiece). Boutique shopping (20 stores). One-of-a-kind dining experiences (seven restaurants and bars). Live entertainment. And it’s all housed in the most unique structures you can imagine: Repurposed shipping containers. So, enjoy gourmet fare from The Downtown Terrace Kitchen and Bar, sip a craft cocktail at Oak & Ivy, and then maybe grab a hot dog at Cheffini’s to hold you over during a movie, live concert, or family-friendly event on the Main Stage. It’s an experience you’ll never forget … and will want to repeat.

The Park

Opened on December 5, 2013

Downtown Container Park is an open air shopping center and entertainment venue featuring 39 shops, restaurants, and bars. The innovative center was built from 43 re-purposed shipping containers and 41 locally manufactured Xtreme cubes.

The park spans 19,000 square feet and serves as the community hub of downtown.

How Romantic

At 9pm, the Downtown Container Park becomes a 21-and-over venue. The perfect date night option with unique restaurants and bars. Bring a lock to add to the Love Locket located right outside the entrance. Or write a love note to each other on the chalk wall.

The Mantis

This 55-foot-tall steel praying mantis was created by Kirk Jellum and Kristen Ulmer as a mobile art piece for Burning Man, an annual festival held in Black Rock Desert, Nevada. Now residing in Downtown Las Vegas.

The Mantis puts on nightly shows, shooting fire from its antennae to the music and sounds of Container Park.

The Treehouse

This is more than a treehouse. It’s a three-story play structure with a 33- foot-tall slide, NEOS play system, over- sized foam building blocks, and much more. Downtown Container Park offers fun family attractions in the interactive play zone. The world-famous Treehouse is a place for kids to be kids. This one-of-a-kind, dynamic environment invites children and adults to have fun and be active while exploring their creative sides.

The Dome

The Dome is an immersive, 4K-visual entertainment experience inspired by the artful and innovative vibe of downtown Las Vegas. Nearly 14 million pixels surround viewers in a series of ultra- HD, 360-degree imagery designed for all ages. Over 36,000 lumens light up an indoor dome set above 25 recliner-style seats.

Currently showing: U2, Pink Floyd: The Wall, Led Zeppelin, Perfect Little Planet, Earth Defender, and Dinosaurs at Dusk
